Family, work, home, money, schools, everyday life we discover along the way.
For so long, to live in America was an idea, a possibility and a dream that never quite went away.
What began as a family-based immigration application became a journey of waiting, paperwork, uncertainty and persistence.
Then, in March 2025, the waiting was over.
We arrived in Las Vegas as permanent residents and began the next chapter of our lives.
But getting here was only the beginning.
Now we’re learning how to build a life in America, finding our feet, navigating new systems, pursuing new opportunities, making a home and discovering what everyday life really looks like on the other side of the world.
This is our story, told as honestly as we can, one experience at a time.
